Copper Evening Make Up

This is a super easy evening make up look starring Barry M’s new Dazzle dust! This is a very coppery eye look so perfect for people with blue eyes. This look can be created using either similar colours if you don’t have the Naked 3 palette or swap out the purples for browns if you prefer a softer look.
I know it’s weird but I like to start by concealing my face because I have quite uneven skin so it covers my red areas very well. I used the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer in the shade Ivory.
Next I apply Maybelline Dream Fresh Mousse as my base because it is the perfect colour for me and stays on all night.
Powdering your skin is very important before a night out especially if you have a foundation with SPF because it can reflect and make you look pale if you use flash.
Blush is next and I used a cream one from Kiko which is a lovely natural plum colour.
I prefer to do eyebrows before eye shadow because, as you will see in a minute, I use them to make my eye shadow even. I use a Mac eye shadow on an angled brush to fill them in then a Maybelline brow mascara to set them.
This is a little tip for the more heavy handed person, to get a defined edge on your eye shadow, use medical tape! Stick your tape to your face using the eyebrows and outer corner of the eye as a guide and you will get a nice defined line.
I start the eyeshadow with the pale purple shade called Limit from the Naked 3 Palette in the crease (4th from left).

I then darken the crease with the darker purple colour Nooner (7th from left).

Next, I patted the copper shade Trick (6th from left) all over the lid then used a fluffy brush to blend it all together.

To make it smokier, I put a little bit of Factory (4th from right) on the outer corner.

I next used an angled brush and the grey shade Darkside (2nd from right) to make a line along the edge of the tape more defined.

Next is the best part, glitter! This is an amazing loose copper glitter that looks amazing with blue eyes. I just packed the glitter on the inner corner of my eye and it looked amazing.

When you are done with the eye shadow, take the tape off and blend out the edge.

The tape may take off some of your base so just apply some concealer under your eyes.
To finish the eyes, I applied mascara and I used the very popular Maybelline Lash Sensational.
All that’s left now is lips and I used the Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner in the shade East End Snob.

Very nice copper make-up and good tip with the tape, I would never have thought of using tape when doing my make-up 🙂
