Ever since a young age, I have wanted to have my ears pierced but I have always been too scared to get them done because of my slightly irrational fear of needles. But one day a couple of years ago, I decided I had to just suck it up and have it done so I went into town the next day and had them done. I nearly passed out I was so nervous but it really didn’t hurt at all.
Since then I have loved wearing earrings and they are my most loved piece of jewellery. I really can’t stop buying them and I’ve managed to collect an impressive 42 pairs! So I thought I would narrow it down to my favourite 5 pairs and it was tough but I managed to do it! (Almost).
We are only allowed to wear studs at our school and these are the ones that I wear the most and even though I have had them since Christmas I still get compliments on them every time I wear them. They are very dainty, cute and quite unusual and they are from Orelia London which is stocked in some Topshop outlets.
Gold and silver hoops
I know this is slightly cheating but they are technically the same pair of earrings but in different colours. I spotted them in Accessorize and picked them up in the gold but then saw them in the silver and knew I had to have both. They are medium sized so not too big and over the top and perfect for wearing in the day and night.
Rose gold hoops
These ones I only picked up a few days ago from Topshop but I love them so much! The colour is so pretty and goes well with lots of clothes I have and if you look closely there is a lovely intricate design on them.
I was given these by my best friend for Christmas last year along with crawlers made up of several of the stars on the studs. The star studs are my favourite though because they are more wearable and I love to wear them on more special occasions.
Star and moon studs
These are the cutest little star and moon studs from the lovely jewellery company, Scarlett. All the jewellery is made in their Hove workshop and designed with an elegant, wearable touch and is very high quality. I was lucky enough to have this pair sent to me and I have barely taken them out since! I only have a single lobe piercing and they look great but I think they would also look amazing as a second or third piercing. I love that the star especially has a slightly more rustic feel with the uneven star points and they are designed with an engraved pattern on them.
And those are my top 5 favourite pairs of earrings, which are your favourite out of the ones I’ve showed you?
