I promise you, this is the nicest Oreo brownie recipe you will find. It is the most perfect combination of a crunch on the crust and gooey softness in the middle. This wonderfulness is the reason why it is the thing I get asked to bake the most. Every time I offer to do some baking for my friends and I ask them what they want, they say ‘your Oreo brownies!’. So I have decided to share this delicious recipe with you (you can thank me later).
60g dark chocolate
60g milk chocolate
395g caster sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
2tbsp cocoa powder
150g plain flour
1 packet Oreos
– Preheat the oven to gas mark 4 and line a 9×9” tray with butter and grease proof paper. (If you don’t have a tray exactly that size, it doesn’t matter just try and find one of a similar size).
– Melt the chocolate and butter in a glass bowl over hot water. Put the sugar in a large bowl and add the melted chocolate. Add the eggs, vanilla and cocoa powder and stir well. Add flour and stir carefully.
– Pour the batter into the tin and add the Oreos. Bake for at least 35 minutes, until a toothpick 2 inches from the outside of the tin comes out clean. Let cool before cutting.
And there you have it! Some yummy brownies perfect with a cup of coffee or at a party, sure to blow everyone away! Let me know on Twitter @paisleyinprint or Instagram @paisleyinprint if you give them a try.
